Dear Birds,

This is just a quick blog to ask (well, beg) for your help! In case you haven’t noticed, there is a little competition going on called BE THE SOURCE.

Basically, unsigned artists upload their videos, and then the general public vote for them.

The top few get played on Sky TV and Freeview channels during September and the winning band get £10,000 and a record deal!!!

Birdeatsbaby have slim chances of winning as the top acts obviously have huge fanbases, BUT, if we win, we promise to donate £1000 of the prize money to the OXFAM PAKISTAN FLOOD APPEAL. The rest of it will go towards album recording next year, flights, PR costs and some new instruments as we are in desperate need of amplifiers, a new drum kit and bass guitar!

This is a great opportunity for you to help an unsigned act, and hopefully donate money to charity too…
